I live in Hadfield, which is a village in the High Peak, close to Glossop.  It has the advantage that it is only about 12 miles from Manchester, so I think it's fair to say that I have the best of both worlds - the rural and the metropolitan. The next few pages will show what the area is like, in different seasons and different places from local pubs to town halls. Just click on the thumbnails to see a bigger picture.
